1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It allows information about your visit (language, session, preferences) or your device to be remembered. The applicable regulation in Spain is Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on information society services (LSSI-CE) and the Guidelines on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) in July 2023.
2. Cookies used on this site
QuantumZIGMA applies a minimisation criterion: we use only the cookies necessary for the site to work correctly and, therefore, exempt from the prior-consent obligation under Art. 22.2 LSSI.

We do not use:
- Third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
- Advertising or remarketing cookies (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, etc.).
- Tracking cookies from social networks (we do link to external profiles, but without integrated tracking pixels).
- Persistent local storage for profiling purposes.
If in the future we decide to incorporate analytics or third-party cookies, we will notify you beforehand by a consent banner that will fully comply with the requirements of the GDPR and the AEPD Guidelines, allowing you to accept, reject or configure the use of optional cookies with the same ease.
3. Types of cookies according to AEPD
The AEPD guidelines classify cookies by:
- Ownership: first-party (served by our domain) or third-party (served by external domains). The ones we use are first-party.
- Duration: session (deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent (remain for a defined time). Ours are one session and two persistent (of 12 months and language preference).
- Purpose: technical, personalisation, analytics, behavioural advertising. Ours are exclusively technical.
4. Management and revocation
Although we only use technical cookies, you can configure or delete cookies at any time from your browser:

5. External services loaded from the site
To reduce weight and improve accessibility we load typography from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). These services may log the IP in their logs for technical service reasons. They do not install cookies in this flow. If you wish to avoid even this interaction, configure your browser to block these domains; the site will render with system fonts without functional loss.

This policy may be updated to reflect regulatory or technological changes. The current version will always be published at this URL with the date of the last update.
